For technical specialists
This page is for people who run the company website or vet contractors. Here is what is usually asked before onboarding: where the code lives, how access is stored, how releases and rollbacks work.
The code and the site stay yours
- The code lives in your GitHub or GitLab repository. The team works in a separate branch, and changes reach the main branch after your OK.
- The live site runs on your server or hosting. We only host review versions and staging copies.
- No server yet? We'll suggest one to rent. The team installs what's needed, connects the domain and https.
Access and security
- Passwords, keys and tokens are stored encrypted and used only for your project's tasks.
- Each project runs in its own isolated environment. Other clients see neither data nor settings.
- Actions that change something on the live server require approval with a button in the messenger.
- You can revoke access at any time: remove the key on your side or write to us.
- For projects with personal data, previews and staging copies open only via a link with a key.
Releases and rollback
- Every change can first be reviewed via a link or on a staging copy of the site.
- Only changed files are uploaded to the server. Before that, we save those files and the database.
- Rollback restores exactly what was there before the release.
- Previews nobody opened for 14 days are deleted. The code in the repository stays.
Code quality
- In new projects the code passes automatic style and type checks before the client sees it.
- Automated tests with a set coverage are enabled if you choose so.
- Before showing the result we open it in a browser and check that the page loads and works without errors.
